To show that the maps don't have to be used for anything too serious, how about a map showing the (rough) locations where Borat - the 7th most famous person in Kazakhstan - is alleged to have made some of his rather unusual remarks about his home country.

Once again we used the hybrid map, mainly because there are very few places of any substance in Kazakhstan, but the satellite image shows quite a lot of detail about the country layout. Can you spot the bus?
